349-350 behind the scenes

I falling a little behind on my blog…not too terrible though! Today I am posting for days 349 &350 but in actuality I am on day 354! Sometimes I choose not to photograph parts of the Prince illustrations so they look better aesthetically when I post them. When I do this though some of the little fun quirks go missing. These two are good examples!

347-348 Hang gliding & Afternoons at the Park

Seurat’s painting “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” reminds me of spring…it snowed pretty steady all night, and most of the day today. If someone were spray paint the glass panes of my window white I probably wouldn’t notice. Thats what you see when you look out…just white.

So I wanted to bring some spring into my home !I bought flowers and a plant at Trader Joe’s today! I love that place. The food is so inexpensive, I feel like I’m playing some weird game with myself when I shop there… Lets see how much food I can toss in the cart and try brake over the $100 dollar mark. Today I only hit $70, that place is so damn cheap. My cupboards/freezer are so full! I always feel like I robbed the store. I like to buy pre made frozen food for the freezer for my lazy days?( I know how to cook I swear!) I just throw any old thing in the cart when i’m in that section. I don’t even look half the time. I haven’t found anything gross yet. Thats how I discovered Cowgirl bark its white chocolate with cranberries, pieces of ginger snaps,pretzels, peanuts ,almonds, and I think pieces of rice cake…addictive! I would never in my right mind play this sick game in a another grocery store, because the clerk at the register would have to take items out so I could pay the bill…  and then I would have to slink out of there in embarrassment ! lol  I don’t have the bank account for that game! 342 What color is the dress?

So Friday morning I hopped online while I was doing my normal morning routine, and this post about the color of this dress is everywhere! My Facebook,Twitter,and Instagram feed is totally filled with people arguing about the color of a dress. In my opinion a dress that should probably be burned. The dress is  U.G.L.Y!

By Friday evening the internet was flooded with ugly dress memes. Which I was loving! Some people are saying the dress is an optical illusion, and not even a real dress. Other people are saying that is a psychology experiment posted by a student. The theory being if the dress appears black or blue you are depressed & If the dress appears white, and gold you are normal.

Conformity…I think we are all guilty, even those of us who try fight it. I was scrolling on Facebook and I saw the “Hans Solo season is upon us” Meme and I started dying laughing. I’m totally guilty of the tall boot & legging trend! I wish I wasn’t,  but sadly its my winter uniform.  When it starts getting warmer I will start wearing my other uniform, sundresses and sandals. All my dresses are fitted on top and flared at the bottom…I guess its just my thing. Do I have any business making fun of college girls who rock uggs, pink sweats, and north face coats… not really!
