I falling a little behind on my blog…not too terrible though! Today I am posting for days 349 &350 but in actuality I am on day 354! Sometimes I choose not to photograph parts of the Prince illustrations so they look better aesthetically when I post them. When I do this though some of the little fun quirks go missing. These two are good examples!
Here is what I posted on day 349!
This is what you missed (until now)! Hellooooo tighty whities!!!
Here is day 350
& here is what was missing… a booty & some booties!
Hi Everyone! So Yesterday my friend Shannon requested a Nutcracker version of Prince. Shannon and I went to catholic all girl school together back in the day woooo! So of course I did a nutcracker version of Prince for her! I hope you all like it, also if anyone else has any requests please feel free to drop me a line! I usually do most requests, unless you want me to draw Prince as a cannibal or something. Also Today is my friend Josh’s birthday! Happy Birthday Josh!!! Josh and I were having a couple of drinks one night and Josh blurted out “You should draw Prince every day for a year!” I am pretty sure I responded “Thats crazy, no way!” Anyways here I am on day Two Hundred and Ninety One….thanks Josh, I think. Ha ha ha
Here is a photo from high school. I am in the second row with two long braids (I have no idea why my pockets are turned out). Shannon is the pretty blonde in the back row with her shades on! Hi Shannon!
Here is a video of Josh that I have been holding onto for future embarrassment purposes, now seems like a good time to cash it in! Josh was trying to do a submission tape for Foxes Utopia! Happy Birthday Josh!!! Utopia you missed out!!!
Merry Christmas everyone ! Sorry theses posts are after the fact ! I had a great holiday with my family ! I received all new bedding ,lots of clothes (which I REALLY needed), & awesome le creuset cookware, my favorite kind! My love and I had dinner with my mother on Christmas eve. My mom went all out a spiral ham, shrimp cocktail, baked stuffed shrimp, & lasagna! Christmas day I spent with my Father & his wife Gail They also went all out! We had steak, seafood bisque, more baked stuffed shrimp, and baked potatoes! Spending time with my family was so great! For the past three years I had worked a job that didn’t allow me to have any time with my family on the holidays. This year was also my first christmas with my boyfriend Kurt, so I feel very blessed. I hope you all had a christmas as blessed as mine was! So today I will take part in the tradition of returning gifts at the jam packed mall. Wish me luck, and pray I don’t get trampled!!!
Last night I went to La Salette Shrine with a group of friends. La Salette is a Shrine in Attleborro MA that the totally deck out with lights. When you are pulling up to the Shrine there is no way you can miss it the lights can be seen from a distance! My friend Xander texted me when I pulled up to let me know “they were waiting for me where doves cry”! I found them standing under a tree decks out in dove shaped lights, awesome night!
When I was a kid my mom would always put my gloves on after I was loaded into my snowsuit. My snow suit was pretty much like the one Ralphies brother was forced to wear in “A Christmas Story”. I alway wondered as a child how I would get my mittens on without my mom, when I became an adult and lived on my own. I would waddle at full speed away from the neighbor kids who always wanted to pelt me with snow balls…good times!!!
Conformity…I think we are all guilty, even those of us who try fight it. I was scrolling on Facebook and I saw the “Hans Solo season is upon us” Meme and I started dying laughing. I’m totally guilty of the tall boot & legging trend! I wish I wasn’t, but sadly its my winter uniform. When it starts getting warmer I will start wearing my other uniform, sundresses and sandals. All my dresses are fitted on top and flared at the bottom…I guess its just my thing. Do I have any business making fun of college girls who rock uggs, pink sweats, and north face coats… not really!
